Historic site and monument

Located in the heart of the old convent founded by Louis XV's wife, the chapel is a jewel of neoclassical architecture.

Its chapel is a gem of Neo-Classic art and has just undergone total restoration, which was completed in 2011. The school had over 500 pupils when the nuns were expelled in 1792.

Napoleon I turned it into a secondary school for boys and it became the Lycée Hoche in 1888.

Openings

From 01/01 to 31/12, every Tuesday and Saturday.
The museum is opened on Tuesdays from 4.30 to 6.30 pm and on the first Saturday of each month from 10 am to 1 pm (except during school holidays)
The chapel is only accessible during guided tours.
