La Vendita dell'Aria ( Selling the Air)

Hear ye Hear ye! The compagnie Akama comes to Versailles on 18-19-20 March 2022 for three performances of "La Vendita dell'Aria"!

With more than 100 performances this summer, the show will be presented as part of the Festival "Le Baz'Arts des Mômes", organised by the city of Versailles. We will be present at the International Academy of Performing Arts of the City of Versailles to make you laugh and take you with us into the world of Commedia dell'Arte, the theatre that inspired Molière.

Synopsis: Pantalone is broke! To pay off his debts he decides to hatch a diabolical plan: to sell breathable air to all citizens thanks to a subtle stratagem. But to do this, Pantalone needs the Governor's approval.
The Governor will pass this project in exchange for the hand of the beautiful and charming Ariadne, Pantalone's daughter.
It is decided: Ariadne will marry the Governor tonight!
But Ariadne's categorical refusal and her alliance with Lisette, his faithful servant, were not to be taken into account. The two women are ready to do anything to prevent the wedding and to cancel
Pantalone's plan to sell air. In a whirlwind of emotions the audience will choose...
Who will triumph? The love of power or the power of love?
