Monsieur Jourdain, a clothier by trade, will do anything to become a gentleman.

This obsession soon attracts courtiers, each one more hypocritical than the last, who are constantly trying to get our bourgeois to loosen his purse strings. But this is without counting on the solid common sense of his entire household! Will masquerade and turqueries overcome the naivety and vanity of Monsieur Jourdain?

Carlo Boso is a graduate of the Piccolo Teatro drama school in Milan, directed by Giorgio Strehler and Paolo Grass. Founder of AIDAS, he has trained many artists in the preservation and transmission of the expressive techniques of commedia dell'arte. These five shows are an opportunity to discover the young generation who are committed to continuing this work and who work both in France and internationally.
