Théâtre Montansier - The Miserable

In this historical fresco of the 19th century, the young actors of AIDAS breathe fire, passion and energy into this monster work by Victor Hugo.

They embody the mythical characters Jean Valjean, Cosette, Javert, Gavroche, the Thénardier couple, ... and take part in their torments, their fears, their victories, their joys, their utopia of a better world and their fight against injustice, in this magnificent Hugolian language, where the sublime rubs shoulders with the grotesque, the summit, the precipice.

Carlo Boso is a graduate of the Piccolo Teatro drama school in Milan, directed by Giorgio Strehler and Paolo Grass. Founder of AIDAS, he has trained many artists in the preservation and transmission of the expressive techniques of commedia dell'arte. These five shows are an opportunity to discover the young generation who are committed to continuing this work and who work both in France and internationally.
