For the first time, the Château de Versailles opens its doors for an extraordinary journey back in time in virtual reality! Dive back in time to 1682 and follow Mr Le Nôtre, Louis XIV's gardener, on a never-before-seen tour of gardens that have now disappeared.
Virtual reality at the Château! An initial experience entitled Versailles: The Sun King's Vanished Gardens, co-produced by GEDEON Experiences, Small Creative, VIVE Arts and the Château de Versailles, is being offered in a virtual reality room from March 25, 2025 to January 4, 2026.
This experience allows visitors to explore emblematic and now vanished areas of the gardens, projecting them into the heart of the 17th century for a poetic and interactive stroll guided by André le Nôtre, Louis XIV's gardener.
A unique opportunity to discover the Royal Menagerie and its exotic animals, the Labyrinth grove and its fountains, the Téthys grotto and its exceptional rock garden decorations!

From 01/04 to 30/10/2025 between 9 am and 7.30 pm except on May 1st.
Extra dates 21/04, 09/06 and 14/07.
Last entrance at 7:30 pm. Saturdays from June 14 to September 20, additional slot at 8pm.
From 01/11/2025 to 04/01/2026 between 9 am and 5 pm except on January 1st and December 25th.
Closed on Monday.
Last entrance at 5 pm.

Full price: 15 €.
Possibility of buying a combined ticket with a château entrance ticket for 35€ or with a passport ticket for 45€.
