Partially presented in July 2024 for a few weeks as part of the opening of the Olympic Games and the Ancienne Poste, the ‘Versailles from the sky’ exhibition is back!

This unprecedented visual and historical immersion of the whole of Versailles once again takes over the Ancienne Poste, with new vantage points and a new route to discover the scale and beauty of the royal city, its château, its natural spaces, its many diverse districts and its remarkable sites and buildings.
The shots taken over the last few years reveal a spectacular site: the beauty, symmetry, originality, diversity and preservation of these landscapes are magnified and revealed from above. This exhibition gives you a bird's-eye view of this historic heritage, from a great height!
There's also a large scale model of the town and château in the 18th century, made using the techniques of the famous relief plans commissioned by Louis XIV from Vauban!
