In the heart of the Park, La Petite Venise welcomes you every day in a building with the French Historic Monument classification. The restaurant is located in former stables and it offers an italien and a bucolic cuisine.

History of The Petit Venise :
Created in 1694, two years after the Grand Canal impoundment, this monument was supposed to house a sheds for shipbuilding.
The military vessels of Marseille and Le Havre were built in this place.
Moreover, before, the Court liked to do royal Pormenade on gondolas built in Venise. It was the sign of a fascination for the city of the Doges.
The Petite Venise was a place where the Corporation of sailors of Versailles were living. It was dissolve during the French Revolution and it became stables with the King Louis-Philippe.
Two hundred years later, it became a place for gourmet thanks to the Chef.
Our restaurant houses a reception room and a living room with a terrace which can be privatized for private of professional festivities.
