An artist at heart and a graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts in Versailles, France, Changzheng ZHU is a painter and sculptor whose work focuses on the theme of women. Her pieces capture the beauty and grace of women through fluid curves and elegant lines, reflecting the power and sensuality of femininity.
Inspired by the textures and cracks of raku, she incorporates these elements into her paintings to create unique and captivating visual effects. The sculptural textures add an extra dimension to her works, inviting viewers to explore the depths of her compositions with their tactile senses as well as their visual ones.
Her distinctive artistic style skillfully combines painting and sculpting techniques, creating works that evoke both delicacy and strength.
