La Maréchalerie - la moindre anomalie
With La moindre anomalie, Dominique Petitgand invites us to an immersive experience where listening is a tool for exploration.
Through an economy of means and the poetic precision of its composition, the sound creation is juxtaposed with a selection of visual works that offer a collection of fragmented and dreamlike landscapes.
Based on a deployment of voices, sounds, and texts, Dominique Petitgand presents a unique body of work conceived specifically for the space and its architecture. This exhibition presents a plurality of narratives, spoken, musical, and silent sequences, as well as notes and documents, all of which share a common starting point and common thread: listening.
The spatial and temporal articulation of these different elements emphasizes the interplay and shifts between listening and reading, between taking in the surroundings and being present with oneself, between the familiar and the unknown.
