Experimental artistic project created in 2004 by the National School of Architecture of Versailles, located on the heritage site of the Petite Ecurie of the Palace of Versailles

La Maréchalerie is a contemporary art center that offers a local artistic and cultural program accessible to all and free.
Contemporary art center of the National School of Architecture of Versailles - ENSA Versailles, La Maréchalerie participates in the experimental and prospective dimension of the higher education establishment and offers the public outside the school an awareness of the issues of contemporary artistic creation through proximity to the work.
Each year, three artists are successively invited to engage in personal reflection on the territorial and spatial context of the contemporary art center. The research conceived by the artist gives rise to a monographic exhibition produced in situ, an edition conceived as an artist's document, and a program of educational and mediation actions, - visits, workshops and meetings, which promotes an open debate between artists, school actors and visitors wishing to familiarize themselves with the visual arts.
Experimental laboratory and resource center for National Education, La Maréchalerie deploys a program of activities that participates in the project of the Petite Ecole d'Architecture conceived as the body in charge of Artistic and Cultural Education - EAC of the 'ENSA Versailles. In the long term, it deploys a set of devices devoted to making the youngest aware of contemporary architectural and artistic practices.
The Maréchalerie is associated with national public events open to all and free: European Heritage Days, White Night - Night of Creation in Versailles, Night of Museums. She is a member of the TRAM network which regularly organizes TAXI TRAM, Saturdays of exhibition visits and meetings in the presence of invited artists and teams of structures.

Openings

From 02/01 to 31/12 between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Closed on Monday.
Closed exceptionally on Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
From tuesday to friday: 2:00pm to 6:00pm
On weekend: 2:00pm to 7:00pm

Closed in August and on holidays.
